When we received testimonies of how My Little Lamb and the Word of God have comforted children in the Ukraine, we were filled with gratitude and were deeply moved. We want to share their stories with you and may this be a reminder for us all to continue praying for children who suffer because of war.
A little boy from Mariupol experienced the wonderful presence of Jesus. Together with many other children he was given My Little Lamb by Love on Ukraine, a non-profit organisation that serves victims of the war.
God used this soft toy, audio Bible to greatly reassure the boy.
Lam Bao Yan, who with her husband runs Love on Ukraine, shared the following: “He was so traumatised that he didn’t want his feet to touch the ground, because the ground had been shaking from the bombs. He would hold on to the lamb for hours and told his friends to listen to the lamb.
He told them, ‘Jesus is calling to me and He says don’t be afraid.’”
The father of a four-year-old child, who also got a lamb as a gift, said that his child was no longer crying like before. He said that they now sleep peacefully to the sound of Scripture.
We praise God, that in the midst of great trauma and terrible events, He is comforting His children and letting little ones experience the peace of Christ that is above our understanding.
